Steel pipes, bends, reducers

The ever present need to adapt the characteristics of the components of the pipeline to the increasingly demanding performance of concrete pumps, has given ACME the opportunity to prepare a wide range of piping over the years, suitable to satisfy a range of situations.
The correct choice of the various components must be made on each occasion, according to the type of work to be carried out.

STEEL PIPES

Steel pipes, complete with weld-on collars at the end, may be straight or curved and are used both for booms and for ground pipeline.

	They can be supplied in various types and quality: Welded or seamless Quality: ST52 - API 5 L/B - ST37 Wall thickness: from 2 mm to 10 mm or more Lengths: according to the customer's requirements Weld-on collars: suitable for all kinds of connecting systems

SEAMLESS REDUCERS

In pumping operations when it is necessary to reduce the diameter of the pipe, tapered pipes of an appropriate length are used. It is always advisable to use cones that are sufficiently long, as only by reducing the section of pipe gradually can we avoid straining the pump and allow the concrete to flow regularly without the risk of blocking. We have thus prepared a series of seamless reducers of various diameters, lengths and thicknesses, with the aim of providing users with a wide range of choice.

	We can supply different kind of reducers: Sizes: from DN 50 (2") x DN 38 (1½") to DN 180 (7") x DN 150 (6") Lengths: according to the customer's requirements Weld-on collars: suitable for all kinds of connecting systems The reducers can be hardened on request.

BENDS

Wear in the bends of concrete pumps is a constant source of worry for the user due to the high costs that result from it: spare bends, labour costs for assembly and dismantling, production time lost, etc. Thus the need to find more efficient methods of prolonging the life of the bends themselves. We have examined these needs closely and have developed a vast choice for both the user and the most sensitive manufacturer. We can offer bends of different types, radii and quality:

The products described above are widely known and are widely used and will in any case continue to have their field of application.
