COUPLINGS

The couplings are used to connect concrete pipes.
Acme produces the largest range of couplings in drop-forged steel, suitable for the different connecting systems used on the market.
They are available in the following versions:

  • Adjustable snap coupling
    (GR Type)
     

  • Adjustable bolt coupling
    (GRB & GRM Type)
     

  • Non adjustable snap coupling (GF & GTL Type)
     

  • Two bolt coupling
    (GB & GBF Type)
     

  • Four bolt coupling (GB / 4B Type)
     

  • Wedge coupling 
    (GTL - K, GH & GRK Type)

Sizes: from DN 25 (1") to DN 200 (8"). 
All couplings can be galvanized on request

GASKETS

When pipes are joined with couplings, the seal is assured by a rubber gasket, which varies according to the type of connection: 
"GU" system: double lipped gasket of the traditional type (GU) or by a double lipped gasket with an internal reinforcement (GV, GUR, GUV, GUT).
Sizes from DN 38 (1½") to DN 200 (8")
"OR" system: full section gasket, type OR
Sizes from DN 25 (1") to DN 200 (8")

 

WELD-ON COLLARS

Different types of collars are welded to the ends of pipes, so that they can be joined together with couplings.
We make all types of collars, suitable for various connecting systems.

 

LOCKING PIN

So as to avoid the accidental opening of the couplings, we strongly advise the use of locking pin.

Simple type, used on the small and medium sizes of not adjustable couplings, max. DN 125 (5").

Suitable for all kind of couplings.
On request it can be supplied with chain.
