The Concrete Placement Boom: a
practical and economical solution for the distribution
of pumped concrete.
This equipment is a very important complement to a concrete pump as it
makes it possible to cast easily in those points that cannot be directly
reached with the boom of the concrete pump.
In this way, the installation of piping, together with continuously having
to move both this and the pump, can be avoided.
Currently we produce 4 different
models, with or without counter-weight:
|
|
Horizontal
placement boom type "DL"
|
|
|
This unit is the most economical
and lightest of the ACME-boom series. The first section is mounted on a
thrust-bearing, while the second section, as part of the delivery line, is
structurally supported by a steel tie.
Usually this unit is mounted on a
steel base which includes adjustable vertical outriggers.
|
|
On request a special connecting flange can be provided
as well as different types of supporting columns.
There is no provision for an end placement hose for reasons of safety.
Usually the operation is done manually.
It is possible to provide the
booms with DN 100 (4") and DN 125 (5") pipes of different connecting systems.
Radius reach: 10, 12 & 15/18 m.
|
|
Horizontal
placement boom type "DR"
|
|
|
This unit is provided with two
horizontal arms, which are mounted on a thrust-bearing.
Both arms support the concrete pipeline and allow the installation of the
end hose, which
must not exceed 3 m (118 in.) in length.
Usually this unit is mounted on a structural steel base which includes
adjustable vertical outriggers.
|
|
On request a special connecting flange can be provided as
well as different types of supporting columns.
It is possible to provide
the booms with DN 75 (3"), DN
100 (4") and DN 125 (5") pipes of different connecting
systems.
The operation can be performed manually or electro-hydraulically.
Radius reach: 10, 12 & 16 m.
|
|
|
Currently we also produce a special version particularly suited for use in the area of precasting.
It is the DR / B model.
It is fixed to the wall and can be maneuvered by hand extremely easily since the booms rotate on
appropriately sized slewing rings.
Sizes: DN 75 (3"), DN
100 (4") and DN 125 (5") pipes of different
connecting systems.
|
The operation can be performed manually or electro-hydraulically.
Radius reach: 10, 12 & 16 m.
|
|
|
|
Concrete
placement boom type DRV
|
|
|
This is a dual unit, for
horizontal and vertical application, designed to satisfy the particular
needs of the site and to provide those operations which are not available
in the type DL and type DR units.
The unique feature of being able to lift or lower the second arm by the
operation of a hydraulic hand pump, makes it easier to place the
|
|
concrete even in walls, columns and floor slabs, at different
levels.
Usually this unit is mounted on a base, which includes adjustable vertical
outriggers.
On request a special connecting flange can be provided, as well as different
types of supporting columns.
There is provision for a terminal rubber hose 1500 mm (59 in.) in length.
It is possible to provide the
boom with DN 75, DN 100 and DN 125 (5") pipes, of different connecting systems.
The operation can be performed manually or electro-hydraulically
Radius reach: 10 m & 12 m
|
|
|
|
Concrete
placement boom type BVZ
|
|
|
This unit is mounted on a robust
structural steel base, complete with outriggers and adjustable vertical
stabilisers.
Four wheels provided in the base structure, will facilitate the shifting of
the whole unit on site.
The swivel vertical supporting column is connected to the base via
the thrust-bearing.
|
|
On top of this column, the three arm "Z"
design structure is hinged on one side, while on the other is mounted the
counter-weight and hydraulic power-pack supporting structure.
The operation
of each individual arm is by means of an hydraulic cylinder, provided with
a safety release-valve to safeguard against accidental breakage of the hydraulic tubing.
The hydraulic power-pack is operated by an electric motor and includes a push-button control panel.
It is possible to provide the
boom with DN 100 (4") and DN 125 (5") pipes of different connecting systems.
Radius reach:
DN100 (4"): 10/12 m - 11/13 m
DN125 (5"): 10/12 m
